The Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, met in Special Session via email on Thursday,
December 27, 2012. Roll Call: Cole, Schmitt, Greenwood, Hart, Jones.

that copies of Call for the Special Session on Thursday, December 27, 2012, be
received and placed on file. Vote -Ayes: Five. Motion carried.
140318 - Schmitt/Jones
that the Agenda, as proposed, for the Special Session on Thursday, December 27,
2012, be accepted and approved. Vote -Ayes: Five. Motion carried.

that "Resolution approving Finance Committee Open Invoice Report, pp. 1-27,
dated December 27, 2012, in the amount of $1,253,196.74 a copy of which is on
file in the City Clerk's office", be adopted. Vote -Ayes: Five.
Resolution adopted and upon approval by Mayor assigned No. 2012-1192.

that appointment of Kent Shankle to Interim Culture & Arts Director, be
approved. Vote -Ayes: Five. Motion carried.

that Class C Liquor License Permit and Outdoor Service Applications for Zentra,
229 East 4th Street (New) (Expires 12/20/2013), be approved. Vote -Ayes: Five.
Motion carried.
140322 - Schmitt/Jones
that "Resolution approving Business Financial Assistance Application with Iowa
Economic Development Authority for the Hydrite Chemical Company expansion
project, with the City of Waterloo as the local sponsoring entity; and authorize
Mayor and City Clerk to execute said document—Submitted by Noel Anderson,
Community Planning & Development Director", be adopted and Mayor authorized to
execute same. Vote -Ayes: Five.
Resolution adopted and upon approval by Mayor assigned No. 2012-1193.
