BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa:
That Section 311, Daily Lot Fee, of the 1991 Traffic Code, is
hereby repealed in its entirety; a new Section 311, Daily Lot Fee,
of the 1991 Traffic Code, is hereby enacted in lieu thereof as
follows:
SEC. 311. DAILY LOT FEE.
The daily parking fee shall be designated by City Council.
That Section 344, Monthly Parking, of the 1991 Traffic Code, is
hereby repealed in its entirety; a new Section 344, Monthly
Parking, of the 1991 Traffic Code, is hereby enacted in lieu
thereof as follows:
SEC. 344. MONTHLY PARKING.
Monthly parkers shall be authorized to use parking facilities
upon payment of the required fee as designated by City Council.
That Subsection (d) of Section 352 , City Parking Lots, of the 1991
Traffic Code, is hereby repealed in its entirety; that a new
Subsection (d) of Section 352, City Parking Lots, of the 1991
Traffic Code, is hereby enacted in lieu thereof as follows:
SEC. 352. CITY PARKING LOTS.
(d) Any stickered vehicle parking in a space not designated
for that vehicle shall be considered in violation and will be
subject to a six dollar ( $6. 00) fine for restricted parking.
That Section 539 , No Turn Allowed at Red Light, of the 1991 Traffic
Code, is hereby repealed in its entirety; that a new Section 539,
No Turn Allowed at Red Light, of the 1991 Traffic Code, is hereby
enacted in lieu thereof as follows:
SEC. 539. NO TURN ALLOWED AT RED LIGHT.
Vehicular traffic shall not be permitted to turn at a red
light, when signs are posted, at the following intersections:
( 1) Ansborough Avenue and southbound ramp
( 2) Campbell Avenue, Kimball Avenue and Williston Avenue
( 3 ) Commercial Street and Fifth Street (W)
( 4) Fletcher Avenue and southbound ramp
( 5) Fourth Street (E) and Walnut Street
( 6) Hillcrest Avenue and Ridgeway Avenue
(7) Jefferson Street and Mullan Avenue
( 8) Ninth Street (W) and northbound service road for Washington
( 9) Park Avenue and Sycamore Street
( 10) Sixth Street (W) and northbound service road

That Subsections ( 22) Fifth Street and ( 25) Fourth Street of
Section 541, Increasing Speed Limits in Certain Areas, of the 1991
Traffic Code, are hereby repealed in their entirety; that new
Subsections ( 22) Fifth Street and ( 25) Fourth Street of Section
541, Increasing Speed Limits in Certain Areas, of the 1991 Traffic
Code, are hereby enacted in lieu thereof as follows:
( 22) Fifth Street northbound -
from Martha to Grant 35 mph
Fifth Street southbound -
from South to Randolph
(school zone when lights flashing) 25 mph
from Walnut Street to Washington 30 mph
from Washington southbound to Grant 35 mph
( 25) Fourth Street -
from Donald Street to Walnut Street 30 mph
from Walnut Street to Fifth Street 25 mph
from Fifth Street to Kimball Avenue 35 mph
from Kimball Avenue to West Ridgeway Avenue 30 mph
from West Ridgeway Avenue to southerly
corporate limits 35 mph
That Subsection ( 63a) Sixth Street is hereby added to Section 541,
Increasing Speed Limits in Certain Areas, of the 1991 Traffic Code,
as follows:
( 63a) Sixth Street -
from Grant to Washington southbound 35 mph
That Subsection ( 22a) Walnut Street is hereby added to Section 549,
Loading Zones, of the 1991 Traffic Code, as follows:
( 22a) Walnut Street North side in the 300 block
That Subsections ( 116) Fifth Street (W) , ( 121) Fletcher Avenue,
( 130) Fourth Street (W) , ( 147) Greenhill Road, ( 183) Jefferson
Street, ( 355) Sixth Street (W) , ( 402) Westfield Avenue and ( 408)
