AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1991 TRAFFIC CODE
BY:
REPEALING SUBSECTION ( 240) MARSH STREET, AND
( 382) UNIVERSITY AVENUE OF SECTION 551 ,
PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES ON CERTAIN
STREETS; AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF NEW
SUBSECTION ( 240) MARSH STREET, ( 382)
UNIVERSITY AVENUE, AND ( 382a) UNIVERSITY
AVENUE ACCESS ROADS OF SECTION 551, PARKING
PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES ON CERTAIN STREETS;
AND
ADDING SUBSECTION ( 414a) WYOMING STREET TO
SECTION 551, PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES
ON CERTAIN STREETS; AND
ADDING SUBSECTION ( 57a) E. MITCHELL AVENUE AND
( 95a) UNIVERSITY AVENUE ACCESS ROADS TO
SECTION 553 , NO PARKING HERE TO CORNER.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa:
That Subsections ( 240) Marsh Street and ( 382) University Avenue of
Section 551, Parking Prohibited at all Times on Certain Streets, of
the 1991 Traffic Code, are hereby repealed in their entirety; new
Subsections ( 240) Marsh Street, ( 382) University Avenue, and ( 382a)
University Avenue Access Roads of Section 551, Parking Prohibited
at all Times on Certain Streets, of the 1991 Traffic Code, are
hereby enacted in lieu thereof as follows:
( 240) Marsh Street West side from Reber Avenue to W. 4th
Street; west side from Peoria Street to
W. 2nd Street
(382) University Ave. Northerly and southerly sides from W.
Mullan Avenue to westerly corporate
limits
( 382a) University Ave.
Access Roads Northerly and southerly sides from
Ansborough Avenue to Progress Avenue
except for zones on the north side of the
south access road between Holiday Station
intersection and Sheerer Avenue
That Subsection ( 414a) Wyoming Street is hereby added to Section
551, Parking Prohibited at all Times on Certain Streets, of the
1991 Traffic Code, as follows:
( 414a) Wyoming Street East side from Franklin Street to
Lafayette Street
That Subsections ( 57a) E. Mitchell Avenue and ( 95a) University
Avenue Access Roads are hereby added to Section 553 , No Parking
Here to Corner, as follows:
( 57a) E. Mitchell
Avenue South side in a westerly direction from
Ohio Street
( 95a) University Avenue
Access Roads South access road on the north side in a
westerly direction from Holiday Station
intersection; south access road on the
north side in an easterly direction from
Sheerer Avenue
