AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1991 TRAFFIC CODE
BY:
REPEALING SUBSECTION ( 131) FOWLER STREET OF SECTION 551,
PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES ON CERTAIN STREETS; AND
ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF NEW SUBSECTION ( 131) FOWLER
STREET, OF SECTION 551, PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES
ON CERTAIN STREETS; AND
REPEALING SUBSECTION (7) ELM STREET OF SECTION 545 , YIELD
STREETS; AND
BY ADDING SUBSECTIONS ( 8a) COURTLAND AND ELM STREET, ( 8b)
COURTLAND AND MOBILE STREET, ( 9a) ELM STREET AND FOWLER
STREET, AND ( l0a) FOWLER STREET AND MOBILE STREET, TO
SECTION 544, ALL-WAY STOP INTERSECTIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA:
That Subsection ( 131) Fowler Street of Section 551, Parking
Prohibited at all Times on Certain Streets, of the 1991 Traffic
Code, is hereby repealed in its entirety; that a new Subsection
( 131) Fowler Street of Section 551, Parking Prohibited at all Times
on Certain Streets, of the 1991 Traffic Code, is hereby enacted in
lieu thereof as follows:
( 131) Fowler Street South side from Franklin Street
to Nevada Street; north side
from Elm Street to Mobile
Street.
That Subsection (7) Elm Street of Section 545, Yield Streets,
of the 1991 Traffic Code, is hereby repealed in its entirety.
That Subsections ( 8a) Courtland and Elm Street, ( 8b) Courtland
and Mobile Street, ( 9a) Elm Street and Fowler Street, and ( l0a)
Fowler Street and Mobile Street, are hereby added to Section 544,
All-Way Stop Intersections, of the 1991 Traffic Code, as follows:
( 8a) Courtland and Elm Street
( 8b) Courtland and Mobile Street
( 9a) Elm Street and Fowler Street
( l0a) Fowler Street and Mobile Street
