RESOLUTION NO. 2019-512
REQUEST APPROVING VARIANCE TO NOISE ORDINANCE
REQUEST FROM HEARTLAND VINEYARD CHURCH TO
HOLD A MORNING WORSHIP SERVICE ON AUGUST 25,
2019, FROM 8:00 A.M. TO 1 00 P.M., AT BYRNES PARK,
ALONG WITH A LIVE BAND AND USE OF A P.A. SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, Heartland Vineyard Church is requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance
on August 25, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in conjunction with morning worship service at
Byrnes Park, along with a live band and use of a PA system, together with the recommendation
and approval of the Director of Safety Services, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Heartland Vineyard Church for a variance to the Noise
Ordinance, on August 25, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in conjunction with morning
worship service at Byrnes Park, along with a live band and use of a PA system, is hereby
approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of July 2019.
