RESOLUTION NO. 2019-513
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS JULY 18, 2019 AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS JULY 22, 2019, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH ASPHALT EMULSIONS FOR THE CITY'S RECYCLED
ASPHALT PAVING PROGRAM, AND INSTRUCT CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with
asphalt emulsions for the City's Recycled Asphalt Paving Program, be approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with asphalt emulsions for the City's
Recycled Asphalt Paving Program, be scheduled for July 18, 2019 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall,
Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5 30 p.m. on the 22nd day of July 2019,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon asphalt emulsions for the City's Recycled Asphalt
Paving Program.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
