RESOLUTION NO. 2019-515
RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF
CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS
AUGUST 1, 2019, AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
AUGUST 5, 2019, IN CONJUNCTION WITH REMODELING
OF THE WATERLOO PUBLIC LIBRARY EXTERIOR STAIR
RENOVATION PROJECT, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction the
Waterloo Public Library Exterior Stair Renovation Project, be approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with the Waterloo Public Library Exterior
Stair Renovation Project, be scheduled for August 1, 2019 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo,
Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 5th day of August 2019,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon the Waterloo Public Library Exterior Stair
Renovation Project.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of July 2019.
