RESOLUTION NO. 2019-521
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY PIRC-TOBIN
CONSTRUCTION, INC., OF ALBURNETT, IOWA, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $579,856.35, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY
2019 BROCK 3RD ADDITION SANITARY SEWER
EXTENSION, CONTRACT NO. 954, AND RECEIVE AND FILE
A TWO-YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Pirc-Tobin Construction, Inc., of Alburnett, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with the FY 2019 Brock 3rd Addition Sanitary Sewer Extension, Contract No. 954,
in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, Pirc-Tobin Construction, Inc., has completed the aforementioned project in
accordance with the project plans and specifications at a total cost of $579,856.35.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work for work performed by Pirc-Tobin Construction, Inc., at a total cost of $579,856.35, in
conjunction with the FY 2019 Brock 3rd Addition Sanitary Sewer Extension, Contract No. 954,
are hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of July 2019.
