RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING DATE
OF BID OPENING AS AUGUST 1, 2019 AND DATE OF PUBLIC
HEARING AS AUGUST 5, 2019 FOR THE FY 2020 LEVEE RIP RAP
SPRAYING, CONTRACT NO. 989, AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH NOTICE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Sectionl. That the preliminary plans, specifications form of contract, etc., in conjunction
with the FY 2020 Levee Rip Rap Spraying, Contract No. 989, are approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the FY 2020 Levee Rip Rap
Spraying, Contract No. 989, be scheduled for August 1, 2019 at 1 00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo,
Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 5th day of August 2019, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the FY 2020 Levee Rip Rap Spraying, Contract No.
989.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
