ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS
AMENDED, BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 282 TO
SECTION 2A-5 , REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1 . That Section 2A-5, of Ordinance No. 2479 , as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 281, of
said Section, the following Subsection No. Two Hundred Eighty-two
( 282 ) .
"282 .
That part of the SE 1/4 of Section 11-89-13 in Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa, described as follows :
Commencing at a point on the East line of said SE 1/4 which is
1197 . 23 feet South of the Northeast corner of said SE 1/4 ;
thence S 89°29 ' 30" W a distance of 33 . 00 feet to the Westerly
R-O-W line of U.S . 63 (Logan Avenue) and the point of
beginning; thence S 89°29 ' 30" W a distance of 703 . 00 feet;
thence N 00°30 ' 30" W a distance of 1192 . 66 feet to the North
line of said SE 1/4; thence N 89°09 ' 05" E along said North
line a distance of 703 . 00 feet to said Westerly R-O-W line;
thence S 00°30 ' 30" E along said Westerly R-O-W line a distance
of 27 . 4 feet; thence S 09°28 ' 00" W a distance of 126 . 9 feet;
thence S 00°30 ' 30" E a distance of 500 . 00 feet; thence S
12'55 ' 00" E a distance of 102 . 4 feet; thence S 00°30 ' 30" E a
distance of 444 . 64 feet to the point of beginning; containing
approximately 826 , 565 SF, all in the City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa.
The East line of the SE 1/4 of Section 11-89-13 is assumed to
bear S 00°30 ' 30"E,
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "R-3" Multiple
Family Residence District and "C-1" Commercial District to "C-2"
Commercial District as above described. "
Section 2 . That the Acting Clerk/Auditor be, and he is hereby
directed to tile a certified copy of this Ordinance with the
Recorder of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
