ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS
AMENDED, BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 57 TO
SECTION 2A-7N, CONDITIONAL REZONING CERTAIN
PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1. That Section 2A-7N of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 56 , of
said Section, the following Subsection No. Fifty-seven ( 57) .
"57 .
A parcel of land located in part of the NW 1/4 of the NE Frl.
1/4 and the NE 1/4 of the NW Frl. 1/4 all in Section 5, T88N,
R13W of the 5th P.M. , Black Hawk County, Iowa, as shown on
Exhibit "A" , a copy of which is on file in the Clerk' s office
and by reference made a part hereof . Said parcel is described
as follows:
Commencing at the NE Corner of said Section 5 ; thence
N89°58 ' 33"W, 2162. 43 ft. along the north line of the NE Frl.
1/4 of said Section 5; thence S00°01' 27"W 136 . 87 ft. to a
point on the existing southerly right of way line of Ridgeway
Ave. , the Point of Beginning; thence S40°49 ' 09"E, 56. 94 ft. to
a point on the northwesterly right of way line of West 4th St.
( former Primary Road No. US63) ; thence S49°10 ' 49"W, 100. 00 ft.
along said line; thence continuing along said line
S40°49' 11"E, 15. 00 ft. ; thence continuing along said line
S49°10' 49"W, 848 .70 ft; thence continuing along said line
S48°45' 39"W, 689. 81 ft. to a point on the extension of the
North Line of Kingswood Add. , Black Hawk County, Iowa; thence
S89°32 ' 52"W, 359 . 51 ft . along said line and the North Line of
Lot 1, Kingswood Add. ; thence N00°00' 24"W, 1131 . 96 ft. to a
point on the existing southerly right of way line of Ridgeway
Ave. ; thence N90°00 ' 00"E, 1064 . 25 ft. along said line; thence
continuing along said line N89°58' 38"E, 485. 02 ft. to the
Point of Beginning; containing 26. 01 acres, more or less, all
in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Note: The North line of the NE Frl. 1/4 of said Section 5 is
assumed to bear N89°58 ' 33"W,
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "A-i"
Agricultural District to "R-4" Multiple Family Residence
District/"C-Z" Conditional Zoning, as above described. "
Section 2 . That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby directed
to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
