RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT TO ELECTRONIC
ENGINEERING OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $10,886, PER PATROL VEHICLE, WITH AN HOURLY
SERVICE RATE OF $75 PER HOUR, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF FY 2020
POLICE VEHICLE EQUIPMENT, AND AUTHORIZE THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, Electronic Engineering of Waterloo, Iowa, submitted bids for the purchase
and installation of the FY 2020 Police Vehicle equipment, in the amount of$10,886, per patrol
vehicle, with an hourly service rate of$75 per hour, and is the apparent low bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid submitted by Electronic Engineering in the amount of$10,886, per
patrol vehicle, with an hourly service rate of$75 per hour, in conjunction with the purchase and
installation of the FY 2020 Police Vehicle equipment, is hereby approved and the contract
awarded to Electronic Engineering.
2. That the Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of July 2019.
