FY 2020 SIDEWALK REPAIR
ASSESSMENT PROGRAM — ZONE 9
In the City of Waterloo, Iowa
CONTRACT NO. 981
RECEIVING OF BIDS
Sealed proposals will be received by the
City Clerk of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, at
her office in the City Hall of the said City
on the 22nd day of August, 2019 until
1:00 p.m. for the construction of the FY
2020 SIDEWALK REPAIR ASSESS-
MENT PROGRAM — ZONE 9, Contract
No. 981, as described in detail in the
plans and specifications now on file in the
Office of the City Clerk.
OPENING OF BIDS
All proposals received will be opened in
the First Floor Conference Room at City
Hall, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the
22nd day of August, 2019 at 1:00 p.m„
and the proposals will be acted upon at
such later time and place as may then be
fixed by the City Council.
PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Council of
said City will conduct a public hearing on
the proposed plans, specifications, form
of contract, and estimate of cost for the
construction of the above-described im-
provement project at 5:30 p.m. on the
26th day of August, 2019, said hearing to
be held in the Harold E. Getty Council
Chambers in City Hall in said City. The
proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, and estimate of cost for said
improvements heretofore prepared by the
City of Waterloo are now on file in the
office of the City Clerk for public
examination, and any person interested
therein may file written objection thereto
with the City Clerk before the date set for
said hearing, or appear and make
objection thereto with the City • Clerk

The extent of the work involved is
removing and replacing PCC sidewalk of
various widths and thicknesses, drainage
structure repair, and water valve repair
within Zone 9 of the City of Waterloo's.
Sidewalk Repair Program. This project is
generally located in an area bound by:
North City Limits — East City Limits —
Independence Avenue - Walnut Street —
East 4th Street — Newell Street — Highway
63 — North City Limits
