AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE COMPENSATION OF MAYOR
AND COUNCIL MEMBERS OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 3966 AND
ORDINANCE NO. 3965.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
receive an annual salary of Fifty-five Thousand Dollars ($55,000)
for the calendar year beginning January 1, 1996 and an annual
salary adjustment equal to that provided to all other exempt
employees for each subsequent year thereafter.
Section 2. The Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
receive an annual salary equal to ten percent (10%) of the Mayor's
salary beginning with calendar year January 1, 1996.
Section 3. That Ordinance No. 3966 and Ordinance No. 3965 are
hereby repealed.
