AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1991 TRAFFIC CODE BY
ADDING A NEW SECTION 416A, DISTURBING OF THE
PEACE OR QUIET.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa:
That a new Section 416A, Disturbing of the Peace or Quiet, is
hereby added to the 1991 Traffic Code as follows:
SEC. 416A. DISTURBING OF THE PEACE OR QUIET.
It shall be unlawful for any person to disturb or aid in
disturbing the peace or quiet by making any unreasonably loud noise
emanating from a motor vehicle by any means including but not
limited to the blowing of horns, squealing of tires, and/or use of
electronic devices.
