ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS
AMENDED, BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 66 TO
SECTION 2A -7N, CONDITIONAL REZONING CERTAIN
PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1. That Section 2A -7N, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 65, of
said Section, the following Subsection No. Sixty-six (66).
"66.
Replat of W 1/2 Lot 1, Block 1, Cushman Heights, all in the
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "R-2" One & Two
Family Residence District be and the same is hereby zoned as "C-2"
Commercial District/"C-Z" Conditional Zoning as above described,
subject to the following conditions:
1. The 20' x 30' storage building, shown on a proposed site
plan on file in the Planning and Zoning Department, is to
be no more than one (1) story in height.
2. Said building is to conform to the required setbacks of
the "C-2" Commercial District.
3. All storage is to be enclosed within the six foot (6')
fence, including any dumpsters.
4. There will be no stacking of metals above said fence.
5. Recycling of non-ferrous metals only, with storage bin
for separation of ferrous metals not to exceed 30 cubic
yards.
6. There will be no ground contaminants, no contamination of
groundwater or environmental hazards in general and no
burning of any kind.
7. Pamela and Buddy Jones are to be the only employees."
Section 2. That the Deputy City Clerk be, and she is hereby
directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the
Recorder of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
