ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS
AMENDED, BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 67 TO
SECTION 2A -7N, CONDITIONAL REZONING CERTAIN
PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1. That Section 2A -7N, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 66, of
said Section, the following Subsection No. Sixty-seven (67).
"67.
The East Two Hundred Thirty-five (235) feet of the Northeast
Quarter (NE4) of Section Eight (8), Township Eighty-eight
North (T88N), Range Thirteen West (R13W) of the Fifth
Principal Meridian, City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
lying North of the South Two Hundred Ninety-five (295) feet of
the North One-half (Ni) of the North One-half (N1) of said
Northeast Quarter (NE4) and excepting all legal highways; and
The North Six Hundred Fifty-one and Sixty-three Hundredths
(651.63) feet of the East Eight Hundred Fifty-nine and Fifty-
three Hundredths (859.53) feet of the Northeast Quarter (NEA)
of Section Eight (8), Township Eighty-eight North (T88N),
Range Thirteen West (R13W) of the Fifth Principal Meridian,
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, except the East Two
Hundred Thirty-five (235) feet thereof, and excepting all
legal highways, and excepting that part lying within the
limits described in L.D. Book 543, Page 141, Black Hawk County
Recorder's Office, to -wit:
That part of the NE4 of Section 8, T88N, R13W of the Fifth
Principal Meridian, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as
follows:
Commencing at a point on the East line of said Section 8 that
is 496.6 feet South of the Northeast corner of said Section 8;
thence West at right angles 238 feet; thence South at right
angles 158 feet; thence East at right angles 238 feet to the
East line of said Section 8; thence North along the East line
of said Section 8, 158 feet to the point of beginning, except
all legal highways; and
The West Seven Hundred Sixty-six and Thirty-three Hundredths
(766.33) feet of the East One Thousand Six Hundred Twenty-five
and Eighty-six Hundredths (1625.86) feet of the North Six
Hundred Fifty-one and Sixty-three Hundredths (651.63) feet of
the Northeast Quarter (NE4) of Section Eight (8), Township
Eighty-eight North (T88N), Range Thirteen West (R13W) of the
Fifth Principal Meridian, City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa, except legal highways, all in the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa,
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "A-1"
Agricultural District, be and the same is hereby zoned as "C-2
Commercial District/C-Z" Conditional Zoning, as above described,
subject to Site Plan on file in the Planning, Programming and
Zoning Department."
Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby directed
to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
