ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS
AMENDED, BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 290 TO
SECTION 2A-5, REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1. That Section 2A-5, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 289, of
said Section, the following Subsection No. Two Hundred Ninety
(290).
"290.
That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of
Section No. Thirty-six (36), Township No. Ninety (90) North,
Range No. Thirteen (13) West of the Fifth Principal Meridian,
in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as
follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Section;
thence North along the West line of said Section Eight Hundred
Fifty-eight (858) feet; thence East parallel with the South
line of said Section Three Hundred Forty-nine (349) feet;
thence South Eight Hundred Fifty-eight (858) feet; thence West
Three Hundred Forty-nine (349) feet to the point of beginning;
except the South Three Hundred Seventy (370) feet thereof and
except the North One Hundred Twenty (120) feet thereof, all in
the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "A -i",
Agricultural District, be and the same is hereby zoned as "C-2",
Commercial District as above described, subject to the following
conditions:
1. Hard surfacing of the driveway access to Logan Avenue.
2. No future use of the property for bars or lounges.
3. No adult entertainment establishments."
Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby directed
to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
