AN ORDINANCE VACATING THE NORTHERLY 34 FEET OF
THE SOUTHERLY 100 FOOT UTILITY EASEMENT
GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE NORTHERLY SIDE OF
AIRLINE HIGHWAY, WEST OF AIRPORT BOULEVARD IN
THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the northerly 34 feet of the southerly 100 feet of the
following described property:
That part of the SE1/4 of the SE1/4 of Section 5, Township 89,
Range 13, West of the 5th Principal Meridian, in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the East line of the SE1/4 of Sec. 5-
89-13 that is 60' North of the SE cor. of said sec.; thence
S89° 26'W along the North right of way line of Highway No. 20
a distance of 75.67'; thence N00° 34' W a distance of 401.97'
to the South right of way line of the Illinois Central R.R.;
thence S88° 43'E along said South right of way a distance of
84.34' to a point on the East line of the SE1/4 of Sec. 5-89-
13; thence S00° 40'W along the East line of said Sec. a
distance of 399.17' to the place of beginning.
And
That part of the SW1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 4, Township
89, Range 13, West of the 5th Principal Meridian, in the City
of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa; described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the West line of the SW1/4 of Sec. 4-
89-13 that is 60' North of the SW cor. of said Sec.; thence
N00° 40'E along the West line of the SW1/4 of said Sec. a
distance of 399.17' to a point on the South right of way line
of the Illinois Central Railroad; thence S88° 43'E along said
South right of way line a distance of 216.25' to a point that
is 150' West of the centerline of existing access road to the
Waterloo Municipal Airport; thence S00° 26'E parallel with and
150' from said centerline of access road a distance of 394.1'
to a point on the North right of way line of U.S. Highway No.
20; thence running due West along said right of way line that
is 60' from and parallel with the South line of the SW1/4 of
Sec. 4-89-13 a distance of 224.33' to the point of beginning,
all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
The South line of SW1/4 of Sec. 4-89-13 is taken as due East
and West,
