HomeMy WebLinkAbout4131-10/09/1995ORDINANCE NO. 4131. ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS AMENDED, BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 69 TO SECTION 2A -7N, REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA: Section 1. That Section 2A -7N, of Ordinance No. 2479, as amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 68, of said Section, the following Subsection No. Sixty-nine (69). "69. Lots 13 & 14, Block 3 and the unplatted lot South of and adjacent to Lot 14, Block 3, all in Grand View Place, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "R-2" One and Two Family Resident District to "C-2" Commercial District/"C-Z" Conditional Zoning as above described, subject to the following conditions: 1. The following "C-2" uses are prohibited as part of the "C -2"/"C -Z" Conditional Zoning: car lots, bars or taverns, convenience stores and adult entertainment establishments. 2. The proposed storage building is to be no more than 1,200 square feet (30' x 40') and one (1) story in height, and is to conform to the required setbacks of the "C-2" Commercial District. 3. All outside storage areas are to be screened within a solid fence no less than six foot (6') high, including any dumpsters, and there will be no stacking of materials above said fence. 4. Landscaping and hard surfacing of the site as shown on the proposed site plan on file in the Planning, Programming and Zoning Office. 5. Operating hours are to be from no earlier than 6:00 A.M. to no later than 8:00 P.M., Monday through Saturday. 6. There will be no ground contaminants, no contamination of groundwater or environmental hazards in general and no burning of any kind." Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
