ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS
AMENDED, BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 293 TO
SECTION 2A-5, REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1. That Section 2A-5, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 292, of
said Section, the following Subsection No. Two Hundred Ninety-three
(293).
"293.
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, Block 6, Shilliam's Third Subdivision,
Waterloo;
and also
Lots 4, 5 and 6, Block 5, Shilliam's Third Subdivision,
Waterloo;
and also
Lots 1 & 2, Auditor Francis' Hardy & Virden's Plat No. 5; Lots
1 & 2, Block 3, Shilliam's Subdivision; Lot 1, Block 4,
Shilliam's Subdivision; vacated Willow Street described as
commencing at the Southwest corner of Lot 11, Block 13, Rose
Hill First Addition, thence East along the North line of
Willow Street to the Southeast corner of Lot 12, Block 14,
Rose Hill First Addition, thence South 66 feet, thence West
along the South line of Willow Street to a point 66 feet South
of the point of beginning, thence North to the point of
beginning; that portion of Ash Street described as lying north
of the north line of Albany Street and south of the south line
of Shilliam Avenue and that portion of Shilliam Avenue
described as lying east of the east line of Mobile Street and
west of the extension northerly of the easterly line of Lot 1,
Block 3, Shilliam's Subdivision, all in the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa,
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "R-2" One and Two
Family Residence District to "R-3" Multiple Family Residence
District as above described."
Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby directed
to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
