C-7_) RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF WATERLOO
COMMISSION ON HUMAN RIGHTS FOR VARIANCE TO
NOISE ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO. 3094 .

WHEREAS, Waterloo Commission on Human Rights is requesting a
variance to the Noise Ordinance on June 19, 2009 from 1 : 00 p.m.
• to 7 : 00 p.m. in conjunction with the Summer Harmony Day 4 event
to be held at Lincoln Park, including PA system and music, and
` WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Noise
c Ordinance, Ordinance No. 3094 , and
� 4.
WHEREAS, said Waterloo Commission on Human Rights has made
formal application for a variance effective June 19, 2009 from
1 : 00 p.m. to 7 : 00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
. WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Waterloo Commission on Human
Rights for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094 , Noise Ordinance,
June 19, 2009 from 1 : 00 p.m. to 7 : 00 p.m. in conjunction with
Summer Harmony Day 4 event to be held at Lincoln Park, including
PA system and music, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of February, 2009 .
