AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS AMENDED,
BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 35 TO SECTION 2A -7N,
CONDITIONAL ZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
as follows:
Section 1. That Section 2A -7N, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 34, of
said Section, the following Subsection No. Thirty-five (35).
"35.
Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, Block 1, Thomas & Brinker Addition,
all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "C -i"
Commercial District to "C -Z" Conditional Zoning as above
described", subject to the following conditions:
1. No outside storage of supplies or equipment, not
including vehicles.
One (1) 4' x 8' wall sign to face West Parker Street,
to be illuminated at night by ground lights.
3, No more than 15 semi -trailer deliveries per week.
4. Except on rare occasions, operating hours shall be
between 6:00 a.rn. and 10:00 p.m., six days per week.
5. Use or rental of surplus space shall be limited to uses
permitted in a "C-1" Commercial District.
6. Overnight parking restricted to 12 vehicles.
7. No storage of materials classified as Group H
occupancy, Divisions 1, 2, 3, and 7 of the 1991 Uniform
Building Code.
8. No refrigeration units be stored on the parking lot.
9. Continued maintenance of existing chain link fence on
the east side of the parking lot.
10. All lighting of parking lot to reflect away from
surrounding residences.
Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and he is hereby
directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the
Recorder of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
