AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF THE STREET RIGHT OF
WAY GENERALLY LOCATED ALONG THE NORTHERLY SIDE OF EAST
SAN MARNAN DRIVE FRONTAGE ROAD, EAST OF KIMBALL AVENUE IN
THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
as follows:
That part of the Southwest Quarter (SW i) of Section Three
(3), Township Eighty-eight North (T88N), Range Thirteen West
(R13W) of the Fifth Principal Meridian, City of Waterloo,
Iowa, also known as part of East San Marnan Drive, described
as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of Tract A of Brookeridge
First Addition, Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa; thence
N88°30'44"W Two Hundred Twenty-five and Twenty-two Hundredths
(225.22) feet along the South line of Tract A to the Southeast
corner of Tract A; thence S01°01'W Thirty-four (34) feet;
thence N88°30'45"W One Hundred Seventy-five and Twenty-four
Hundredths (175.24) feet along a line parallel with the South
line of Tract A; thence N54°45'50"W Sixty-one and Eighteen
Hundredths (61.18) feet to the point of beginning, all in the
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
shall be, and the same is hereby vacated, with the City's retention
of a permanent utility easement over, under, and above the above
described parcel.
