HomeMy WebLinkAbout3887-09/14/1992ORDINANCE NO. 3887 'VN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF PLYMOUTH AVENUE, EAST OF INTERSTATE 380 U.S. 218 IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, as follows: That part of Plymouth Avenue, City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, lying West of Texas Street and East of U.S. Highway No. I-380, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the point of intersection of the East line of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of Section Thirty-six (36), Township Eighty-nine North (T89N), Range Thirteen. West (R13W) and the South line of said Plymouth Avenue; thence S89°25'30"W Thirty-four and Ninety-seven Hundredths (34.97) feet to the Northwesterly corner of that parcel as recorded in CLD Book 560 at Page 205, Black hawk County Recorder's Office; thence S33°44'30"W Eighty-seven and Five Tenths (87.5) feet to the most Westerly corner of said CLD 560-205; thence N42°18'W along the East line of U.S. Highway No. I-380 to a point on the North line of said Plymouth Avenue which is Seventy-nine and Six Tenths (79.6) feet West of the Southeast corner of Lot Twenty-five (25) in "Garden Place", City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa; thence N89°28'50"E Two Hundred Eleven and Twenty-one Hundredths (211.21) feet along the North line of said Plymouth Avenue to the Westerly line of Texas Street as marked by an Iowa D.O.T. property monument; thence S21°04'30"E Sixty-four and Forty-two Hundredths (64.42) feet to the Northeast corner of said CLD 560-205; thence S89°25'30"W Thirty-one and Three Hundredths (31.03) feet to the point of beginning, containing 15,930 S.F., shall be, and the same is hereby vacated, subject to the City's retention of a permanent utility easement over the northerly 30 feet in even width of above described right-of-way, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
