ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS AMENDED, BY
ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 272 TO SECTION 2A-5, REZONING
CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED -BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1. That Section 2A-5, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 271, of
said Section, the following Subsection No. Two Hundred Seventy-two
(272).
"272.
Commencing at a point on the centerline of Iowa Highway 57
that is 300 feet normally distant east of the centerline of
Airport Boulevard; thence north 130 feet; thence east 250
feet; thence north to the centerline of Airline Highway;
thence easterly along said centerline 1,850 feet; thence north
to the centerline of the Chicago Central & Pacific Railroad,
which is the point of beginning; thence northwesterly along
the Chicago Central & Pacific Railroad 300. feet; thence north
250 feet; thence east to the east line of the southeast 1/4 of
the southwest 1/4 of Section 4, Township 89, Range 13; thence
south along said east< line to the south line of said section;
thence west along said south section line (said line also
being the centerline of Airline Highway) to its intersection
with the centerline of the Chicago Central & Pacific Railroad;
thence northwesterly along said centerline to point of
beginning, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa,
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "A-1"
Agricultural District to "M-1" Light Industrial District, as above
described."
Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and he is hereby directed
to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
