AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1991 TRAFFIC
CODE BY REPEALING SUBSECTION (73)
WASHINGTON STREET/HIGHWAY 218 OF SECTION
541, INCREASING SPEED LIMITS IN CERTAIN
AREAS; AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW
SUBSECTION (73) WASHINGTON STREET/HIGHWAY
218 OF SECTION 541, INCREASING SPEED
LIMITS IN CERTAIN AREAS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
That Subsection (73) Washington Street/Highway 218 of Section
541, Increasing Speed Limits in Certain Areas, of the 1991 Traffic
Code of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby repealed in its
entirety; that a new Subsection (73) Washington Street/Highway 218
of Section 541, Increasing Speed Limits in Certain Areas, of the
1991 Traffic Code of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby enacted
in lieu thereof as follows:
(73) Washington Street/Highway 218 -
from Mitchell Avenue to Hawthorne Avenue
Washington Street/Highway 218 (northbound) -
from Hawthorne Avenue to 8th Street
from 8th Street to Mullan Avenue
West Washington Street/Highway 218 -
from Mullan Avenue to westerly corporate limits
West Washington (frontage roads) -
from Fletcher Avenue to Ansborough Avenue
Washington Street (northbound service road)
from W. Tenth Street to W. Park Avenue
from W. Park Avenue to W. Second Street
from W. Mullan Avenue to Sergeant Road/Highway 63
Washington Street (southbound service road) -
from Sergeant Road/Highway 63 to W. Ninth Street
Washington Street/Highway 218 (southbound) -
from W. Ninth Street to Hawthorne Avenue
