RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST FROM DOWNTOWN
WATERLOO URBAN FARMERS MARKET FOR STREET
CLOSURE OF PARK AVENUE BETWEEN JEFFERSON
STREET AND LOWER WASHINGTON/BLUFF STREET ON
SATURDAY AUGUST 10, 2019 FROM 6:30 A.M. TO 1:00 P.M.
WHEREAS, Downtown Waterloo Urban Farmers Market is requesting the temporary
street closure of Park Avenue between Jefferson Street and lower Washington/Bluff Street on
Saturday August 10, 2019 from 6:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., to facilitate the farmer's market usually
held at the Riverloop Expo Plaza.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the Downtown Waterloo Urban Farmers Market for a
temporary street closure, on August 10, 2019, from 6:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to facilitate the
farmer's market usually held at the Riverloop Expo Plaza, be granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of August 2019.
