RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. AND SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS AUGUST 22, 2019 AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS AUGUST 26, 2019 FOR THE FY 2020
SIDEWALK REPAIR ASSESSMENT PROGRAM - ZONE 9,
CONTRACT NO. 981, AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH
NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications form of contract, etc., in conjunction
with the FY 2020 Sidewalk Repair Assessment Program - Zone 9, Contract No. 981, are
approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the FY 2020 Sidewalk Repair
Assessment Program - Zone 9, Contract No. 981, be scheduled for August 22, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.,
City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 26th day of August 2019, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the FY 2020 Sidewalk Repair Assessment Program -
Zone 9, Contract No. 981.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
