RESOLUTION NO. 2019-592
RESOLUTION APPROVING A TEMPORARY SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH REPUBLIC SERVICES, INC., OF CEDAR
FALLS, IOWA, IN CONJUNCTION WITH PROCESSING OF
THE CITY OF WATERLOO'S RECYCLABLE MATERIAL,
AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Temporary Services Agreement dated August 5, 2019,between Republic Services, Inc.,
of Cedar Falls, Iowa and the City of Waterloo, for temporary processing of curbside recycling, in
the amount of$114.40 per ton processing fee, $67.60 per ton transportation fee, and $150 per ton
contamination fee, between Republic Services, Inc., of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby approved, and the Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said
document on behalf of the City of Waterloo.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of August 2019.
