AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1988 CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, BY
ADDING SECTION 18-3, AMENDMENT TO SCHEDULE OF
PERMIT FEES, OF ORDINANCE NO. 1971, HEATING,
AIR CONDITIONING AND VENTILATING CODE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa:
That Section 18-3, Amendment to Schedule of Permit Fees, is hereby
added to Chapter 18, Heating, Air Conditioning and Ventilating, of
the 1988 Code of Ordinances of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, as
follows:
Sec. 18-3. Amendment to Schedule of Permit Fees.
That Section 400, Schedule of Permit Fees, of Article IV of
Ordinance No. 1971, Heating, Air Conditioning and Ventilating Code,
is hereby repealed in its entirety. That a new Section 400,
Schedule of Permit Fees, of Article IV of Ordinance No. 1971,
Heating, Air Conditioning and Ventilating Code, is hereby enacted
in lieu thereof as follows:
ARTICLE IV
Schedule of Permit Fees
Section 400 - Schedule of Permit Fees
1. The fees for permits shall be as follows:
WARM AIR, HYDRONIC, OR SOLAR
First Unit:
Up to and not exceeding 399,000 BTUH Input $22.00
400,000 and not exceeding 999,000 BTUH Input . . . • $35.00
1,000,000 and not exceeding 4,999,000 BTUH Input . • $66.00
5,000,000 BTUH Input $110.00
PLUS $11.00 for each additional 1,000,000 BTUH Input
