RESOLUTION NO. 2019-601 RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS, ETC., SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS AUGUST 29, 2019 AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS SEPTEMBER 9, 2019, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2019 YOUNG ARENA ROOF REPLACEMENT PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. 998, AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the preliminary specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the FY 2019 Young Arena Roof Replacement Project, Contract No. 998, be approved. Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with the FY 2019 Young Arena Roof Replacement Project, Contract No. 998, be scheduled for August 29, 2019 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa. Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E. Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 9th day of September 2019, for the purpose of considering and acting upon the FY 2019 Young Arena Roof Replacement Project, Contract No. 998. Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
