RESOLUTION NO. 2019-602
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS AUGUST 29, 2019 AND PUBLIC
HEARING AS SEPTEMBER 09, 2019, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR SECURITY
GUARD SERVICES, AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with
the request for Proposals for Security Guard Services, be approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with the request for Proposals for Security
Guard Services, be scheduled for August 29, 2019 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 9th day of September
2019, for the purpose of considering and acting upon the request for Proposals for Security Guard
Services.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
