RESOLUTION NO. 2019-604
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID TO LANDMARK TURF
SERVICES, LLC, OF DUNKERTON, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $39,858, AND APPROVING THE CONTRACT, BONDS,
AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE FY 2020 LEVEE RIP RAP SPRAYING,
CONTRACT NO. 989, AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Landmark Turf Services, LLC, of Dunkerton, Iowa, submitted bids for the
FY 2020 Levee Rip Rap Spraying, Contract No. 989, in the amount of$39,858, and
WHEREAS to Landmark Turf Services, LLC, submitted a written contract, bond and
certificate of insurance, per the specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said project
with Resolution No. 2019-579, after public hearing on August 5, 2019, in conjunction with the
FY 2020 Levee Rip Rap Spraying, Contract No. 989.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of Landmark Turf Services, LLC, submitted in the amount of
$39,858 for the FY 2020 Levee Rip Rap Spraying, Contract No. 989, is hereby accepted and
awarded to Landmark Turf Services, LLC.
2. That the contract, bond, and certificate of insurance, submitted by Landmark Turf
Services, LLC, are hereby approved.
3. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said
documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of August 2019.
