AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF GLENWOOD
STREET RIGHT OF WAY LOCATED BETWEEN SOUTH
BARCLAY STREET AND IRVING STREET IN THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
as follows:
All that part of the right-of-way of Glenwood Street described
as follows:
Commencing at a point of intersection of the North right-of-
way line of Glenwood Street with the West right-of-way line of
Irving Street extended, thence South along said West right-of-
way line of Irving Street to a point which is 11.0 feet
normally distant South of said intersection to the point of
beginning, thence West parallel with the North right-of-way
line of Glenwood Street to a point 100.0 feet normally distant
East of the East right-of-way line of South Barclay Street,
thence Southwesterly to a point on the East right-of-way line
of South Barclay Street extended to a point 8.0 feet North of
the Northwest corner of Lot 7, Alford, Gates and Krapfel's
Subdivision, thence South along the East right-of-way of South
Barclay Street 8.0 feet to the Northwest corner of said Lot 7,
thence East along the South right-of-way line of Glenwood
Street a distance of 283.0 feet to a point which is the
Northeast corner of Lot 8, Robert Robinson's Plat, and which
is also the intersection of the South right-of-way line of
Glenwood Street and the West right-of-way line of Irving
Street, thence North along said West right-of-way line of
Irving Street extended 22.0 feet to the point of beginning,
containing approximately 5,526 sq. ft., all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
shall be, and the same is hereby vacated, with the City's retention
of an easement over, under, and above the described parcel.
