ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS
AMENDED, BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 273 TO
SECTION 2A-5, REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1. That Section 2A-5, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 272, of
said Section, the following Subsection No. Two Hundred Seventy-
three (273).
"273.
That part of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of Section Eight
(8), Township Eighty-eight North (T88N), Range Thirteen West
(R13W) of the Fifth Principal Meridian, City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as follows:
The North Two-thirds (N 2/3) of the West Three-quarters (W
3/4) of the West One-half (W 1/2) of said Southwest Quarter
(SW 1/4).
Also, the South One-third (S 1/3) of the West Three-quarters
(W 3/4) of said Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4).
All the above except legal highways, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "A-1"
Agricultural District to "R -i" One and Two Family Residence
District as above described."
Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and he is hereby directed
to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
