AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF STREET
RIGHT OF WAY GENERALLY LOCATED ALONG GREENWOOD
AVENUE IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK
COUNTY, IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
as follows:
A tract of land located in part of former Greenwood Ave.,
Burd's Subdivision of Sherwood Park, a Subdivision in Sections
16 and 21, Township 89 North, Range 13 West of the 5th P.M.,
City of Waterloo, Iowa shown on Excess Plat Exhibit "A", on
file in the Clerk/Auditor's office and by reference made a
part hereof:
Beginning at the SW Corner of the Southeasterly 80.30 ft., Lot
51, said Subdivision of Sherwood Park; thence N57°44'41" W
58.88 ft. along the northerly line of said former Greenwood
Ave.; thence S 14°05'32" W 52.59 ft. to a point on the
southerly line said former Greenwood Ave.; thence S 57°40'31"
E 118.01 ft. along said southerly line; thence N 24°10'54" W
90.64 ft. to the point of beginning, containing 4,422 sq. ft.,
more or less, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa,
shall be, and the same is hereby vacated, with the City's retention
of an easement over, under, and above the described parcel.
