AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF STREET
RIGHT OF WAY GENERALLY LOCATED ALONG FLETCHER
AVENUE (FORMERLY CLEVELAND STREET) IN THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
as follows:
A parcel of land consisting of part of Cleveland Street,
located in the NWA of the SEA and the NEA of the SWA all in
Section 22 T89N R13W of the 5th P.M., Black Hawk County, Iowa
described as follows: Commencing at the Center of said
Section 22; thence S00° 10'W 428.5 ft. along the west line of
the SEA said Section 22 to the point of beginning; thence N52°
34I'W 112.3 ft. along the south line of Westfield Ave.
extended; thence southerly 124.3 ft. along a 257.9 ft. radius
curve concave westerly having a chord bearing S13° 38'E 123.1
ft.; thence S00° 10'W 167.4 ft. along the west line of
Cleveland St.; thence S50° 44'E 77.3 ft.; thence N00° 10'E
113.0 ft. along the east line of Cleveland St.; thence N37°
20I'E 123.2 ft.; thence N52° 34z'W 93.5 ft. along the south
line of Westfield Ave. extended to the point of beginning,
containing 22,544 Sq. Ft. more or less, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
shall be, and the same is hereby vacated, with the City's retention
of an easement over, under, and above the described parcel.
