ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS
AMENDED, BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 276 TO
SECTION 2A-5, REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1. That Section 2A-5, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 275, of
said Section, the following Subsection No. Two Hundred Seventy-six
(276).
"276.
Commencing at the West Quarter corner of Section 12, Township
39 North, Range 13 West of the 5th P.M., Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa; thence North 0°30'30" West 992.9 feet along the
West line of the Northwest Quarter of said Section to the
Southwest corner of the North One-half of the North One-half
of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said
Section; thence North 89° 56' East 65.00 feet to the East
right of way line of Logan Avenue and the point of beginning;
thence North 21° 17' East 107.80 feet along said right of way;
thence North 89° 56' East 110.00 feet; thence South 0° 30' 30"
East 100.00 feet to the South line of said North One-half of
the North One-half; thence South 89° 56' West 150.00 feet
along said South line to the point of beginning.
Said tract contains 0.298 acres, more or less. The West line
of the Northwest Quarter is assumed to bear North 0° 30' 30"
West in this description, all in the City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa,
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "A-1"
Agricultural District to "R-1" One and Two Family Residence
District, as above described."
Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and he is hereby directed
to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
