AN ORDINANCE VACATING PORTIONS OF RAINBOW
DRIVE AND ANSBOROUGH AVENUE STREET RIGHT OF
WAY IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK
COUNTY, IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
as follows:
The said tract is located in part of the NEI NEI of Sec. 21,
T89N, R13W of the 5th P.M., Black Hawk County, Iowa, and also
part of Rainbow Drive and part of the abandoned C.R.I. & P.
Railroad right of way, more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the SW Corner of Lot 1, Pattison's Subdivision
to the City of Waterloo; thence S74°252'E, 113.4 ft. to the
Point of Beginning; thence S74°252'E, 105.6 ft.; thence
N14°04'E, 6.1 ft.; thence S52°362'E, 16.3 ft.; thence
S74°251'E, 47.0 ft.; thence S45°172'E, 137.3 ft.; thence
N74°171'W, 276.1 ft.; thence N05°46'E, 67.2 ft., to the Point
of Beginning, containing 14,780 sq.ft., more or less,
and also
A tract of land located in the existing right of way of
Ansborough Avenue as shown on Right of Way Plat Exhibit "A" on
file in the City Clerk/Auditor's office and by reference made
a part hereof.
The said tract is located in part of the SWI of the NWA of
Section 22 and in part of the SEI of the NEI of Section 21,
T89N, R13W of the 5th P.M., Black Hawk County, Iowa.
The said tract is described as follows: Commencing at the NW
Corner of the SWI of the NWA of said Section 22; thence
S01°22'W 443.1 ft. along the west line of the NW4 of said
Section 22; thence S88°38'E 12.9 ft. to the point of
beginning; thence S00°14'W 278.4 ft. along the east line of
said tract; thence southwesterly 75.8 ft. along a curve
concave southeasterly having a radius of 453.7 ft. along a
chord bearing S30°49'W 75.7 ft.; thence N54°02'W 30 ft.;
thence N00°09'W 182.1 ft.; thence $52°40'E 2.5 ft.; thence
N01°42'E 41.8 ft.; thence N52°40'W 4:2 ft.; thence N01°06'E
231.1 ft.; thence S17°01'E 81.2 ft.; thence S36°29'E 60.1 ft.
to the point of beginning containing 22,726 Sq. Ft. more or
less, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
shall be, and the same is hereby vacated, with the City's retention
of an utility easement over, under and above the described parcel.
