AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF STREET
RIGHT OF WAY GENERALLY LOCATED ALONG FLETCHER
AVENUE (FORMERLY CLEVELAND STREET) AND
RESCINDING ORDINANCE NO. 3922.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the following described street right of way:
A parcel of land consisting of part of Cleveland St. located
in the NW4 of the SE4 and the NE4 of the SW4 all in Section
22, T89N R13W of the 5th P.M. Black Hawk County, Iowa,
described as follows:
Commencing at the Center of said Section 22; thence S00°10'W
428.5 ft. along the west line of the SE4 said Section 22 to
the point of beginning; thence N52°342'W 112.3 ft. along the
south line of Westfield Ave. extended; thence southerly 124.3
ft. along a 257.9 ft. radius curve concave westerly having a
chord bearing S13°38z'E 123.1 ft.; thence S00°10'W 167.4 ft.
along the west line of Cleveland St.; thence S50°44'E 77.3
ft.; thence N00°10'E 113.0 ft. along the east line of
Cleveland St.; thence N37°20z'E 123.2 ft.; thence N52°34t'W
93.5 ft. along the south line of Westfield Ave. extended, to
the point of beginning containing 22,544 Sq. Ft. more or less,
all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
shall be, and the same is hereby vacated.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that Ordinance No. 3922 is hereby
rescinded in its entirety due to an error in the legal description.
