ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS
AMENDED, BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 279 TO
SECTION 2A-5, REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1. That Section 2A-5, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 278, of
said Section, the following Subsection No. Two Hundred Seventy-nine
(279).
"279.
That part of the East one-half (Et) of Section Seven (7),
Township Eighty-eight North (T88N), Range Thirteen West (R13W)
of the Fifth Principal Meridian, City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa, lying Southwesterly of a line which passes
through the intersection point of the Centerlines of Primary
U.S. Highway No. 63 and Ranchero Road as platted in "Ranchero
Park" and through the intersection point of the Centerlines of
Winghaven Drive and West Fourth Street as platted in "Kimpston
Subdivision" (said line shall be referred to in this
description as the "Ranchero Road Extension"), and lying
Northwesterly of West Fourth Street, and lying Northeasterly
of a line described as beginning at the Center of said Section
Seven (7); thence East along the Centerline of said Section
Seven (7), One Hundred Ninety-eight (198) feet; thence South
on a line that would be twelve (12) Rods and Seven (7) Links
East of the half section line Forty (40) Rods South of the
center of said Section Seven (7), Four Hundred Fifteen and
Eight Tenths (415.8) feet; thence Southeasterly on a line that
intersects the Centerline of West Fourth Street at a point Two
Thousand Five Hundred Forty and Five Tenths (2540.5) feet
Southwesterly from the East Line of said Section Seven (7),
(measured along the centerline of West Fourth Street), to the
Centerline of West Fourth Street, all in the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa,
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "A -i"
Agricultural District to "R -3,R -P" Planned Residence District, as
above described."
Section 2. That the Acting City Clerk be, and she is hereby
directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the
Recorder of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
