REQUEST APPROVING VARIANCE TO NOISE ORDINANCE
REQUEST FROM MAIN STREET WATERLOO IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE MAYOR'S INDEPENDENCE DAY
EXTRAVAGANZA ON JULY 6, 2019, FROM 3:30 P.M. TO
MIDNIGHT TO BE HELD AT THE RIVERLOOP
AMPHITHEATER, INCLUDING LIVE MUSIC, FIREWORKS
AND THE CLOSURE OF THE PARK AVENUE BRIDGE
DURING THE EVENT.
WHEREAS, Main Street Waterloo has requested to hold the Mayor's Independence Day
Extravaganza on July 6, 2019 from 3:30 p.m. to midnight, to be held at the Riverloop
Amphitheater, including live music, fireworks, and the closure of the Park Avenue bridge during
the event.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Main Street Waterloo to hold the Mayor's
Independence Day Extravaganza on July 6, 2019 from 3:30 p.m. to midnight, to be held at the
Riverloop Amphitheater, including live music, fireworks, and the closure of the Park Ave bridge
during the event, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of July 2019.
