L BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:

That the bid of Peterson Contractors, Inc . of Reinbeck,
Iowa, in the amount of $224 , 518 . 45 , for the construction of the
F. Y. 2009 Permanent Closure of Black Hawk Creek Railroad
Crossings, Contract No. 747 , described in the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said
project, after public hearing on published notice required by
lawN be and is hereby accepted, the same being the lowest bid
:re-ceived for said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of March, 2009 .
