RESOLUTION NO. 2009-226
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF WATERLOO
JAYCEES TO HOLD WATERLOO JAYCEES FIREWORKS
FESTIVAL ON JULY 4 , 2009 .
WHEREAS, the Waterloo Jaycees have requested to hold the
Waterloo Jaycees Fireworks Festival on July 4 , 2009 from 6 : 00
p.m. to 12 : 00 midnight (July 5th rain date) , including use of
Veterans Memorial Park, 4th Street Bridge, Soldiers and Sailors
Park, the lot along 4th Street next to the Courier building and
'the 6th Street Bridge, and road closures .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the Waterloo Jaycees to hold
the Waterloo Jaycees Fireworks Festival on July 4 , 2009 from 6 : 00
p.m. to 12 : 00 midnight (July 5th rain date) , including use of
Veterans Memorial Park, 4th Street Bridge, Soldiers and Sailors
Park, the lot along 4th Street next to the Courier building and
the 6th Street Bridge, and road closures, be and the same is
hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of March, 2009 .
