RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION WITH
s DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, BUREAU OF JUSTICE
ASSISTANCE AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID
APPLICATION BY MAYOR.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the application dated March 23 , 2009, for FY2009 Recovery
Act : Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Formula
Program, in the amount of $441, 589 . 00, with no required local
match, for sharing of funding with Black Hawk County and the City
of Cedar Falls, Iowa, by and between the Department of Justice,
Bureau of Justice Assistance and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be
and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to
execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of March, 2009 .
