'r. WHEREAS, Cedar Valley Tax Day Coalition is requesting a
irra 'iance to the Noise Ordinance on April 15 , 2009 from 6 : 00 p .m.
t7 : 30 p.m. in conjunction with Cedar Valley Tax Day Tea Party
be held in the parking lot on the corner of East 5th Street
Water Street, including PA system and music, and

WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Noise
frdinance, Ordinance No. 3094 , and
WHEREAS, said Cedar Valley Tax Day Coalition has made formal
alication for a variance effective April 15, 2009 from 6 : 00
. to 7 : 30 p.m.

" NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Cedar Valley Tax Day
Coalition for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094 , Noise Ordinance,
onwApril 15, 2009 from 6 : 00 p.m. to 7 : 30 p.m. in conjunction with
Cedar Valley Tax Day Tea Party to be held in the parking lot on
th corner of East 5`h Street and Water Street, including PA
system and music, be and the same hereby granted.
