-, WHEREAS, Crime Victims' Rights Committee is requesting a
2*.iance to the Noise Ordinance on May 2, 2009 from 2 : 00 p.m. to
1:4)0 p.m. in conjunction with Crime Victims' Rights Week event to
SgZheld at Lincoln Park, including use of a PA system and a band,

' WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Noise
Ordinance, Ordinance No. 3094 , and
WHEREAS, said Crime Victims' Rights Committee has made formal
application for a variance on May 2 , 2009 from 2 : 00 p.m. to 4 : 00

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Crime Victims' Rights
Committee for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094 , Noise Ordinance,
on- May 2, 2009 from 2 : 00 p.m. to 4 : 00 p.m. in conjunction with
Crame Victims' Rights Week event to be held at Lincoln Park,
including use of a PA system and a band, be and the same hereby
granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of April, 2009 .
