Ctri RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF NEIGHBORS FOR
s LIFE NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION FOR VARIANCE TO
0 o s NOISE ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO. 3094 .

WHEREAS, Neighbors for Life Neighborhood Association is
equesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance on May 30, 2009 from
W.2 00 p.m. to 4 : 00 p.m. in conjunction with Lafayette Park
w iversary Celebration Picnic to be held at Lafayette Park,
,z 4414luding use of a PA system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Noise
prdinance, Ordinance No . 3094 , and
= WHEREAS, said Neighbors for Life Neighborhood Association has
made formal application for a variance on May 30, 2009 from 12 : 00
p.m. to 4 : 00 p.m.

n� NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Neighbors for Life
ghborhood Association for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094 ,
w•ise Ordinance, on May 30, 2009 from 12 : 00 p.m. to 4 : 00 p.m. in
conjunction with Lafayette Park Anniversary Celebration Picnic to
Elecheld at Lafayette Park, including use of a PA system, be and
the same hereby granted.
