HomeMy WebLinkAbout3989-11/22/1993ORDINANCE NO. 3989 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1991 TRAFFIC CODE BY REPEALING SECTION 540, OBEDIENCE TO OFFICIAL TRAFFIC -CONTROL DEVICES; AND BY ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION 540, OBEDIENCE TO OFFICIAL TRAFFIC -CONTROL DEVICES. BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa: That Section 540, Obedience to Official Traffic -Control Devices, of the 1991 Traffic Code, is hereby repealed in its entirety; that a new Section 540, Obedience to Official Traffic -Control Devices, of the 1991 Traffic Code, is hereby enacted in lieu thereof as follows: SEC. 540. OBEDIENCE TO OFFICIAL TRAFFIC -CONTROL DEVICES. The driver of any vehicle and the motorman of any streetcar shall obey the instructions of any official traffic -control devices as named herein unless otherwise directed by a police officer, subject to the exceptions granted the driver of an authorized emergency vehicle: SIGNALIZED INTERSECTIONS (1) Adrian St. and Lafayette St. --Pushbutton Ped.
